Clare Davison Appointed New Board Member and Director for Swim England East Region

Congratulations to Hatfield’s very own Officials Coordinator extraordinaire, Clare Davison, on her recent appointment as Board member and Director for Swim England East Region. As stated on the East Region newsletter, “this appointment strengthens the region’s leadership team and supports the continued development and delivery of aquatics across the East Region”.

Clare has been an official at Hatfield since 2014 and has progressed through the qualifications since then to Referee. She organises all the officials for our own meets as well as being very active in the county, region and nationally. Her experience will ensure she is a valued member of the board.

To serve on the board, candidates must be active members of Swim England and part of a Swim England East Region club. The position is voluntary, though board members are expected to prepare for and regularly attend board meetings, as well as participate in regional or national events when required. core responsibilities include providing strategic leadership, ensuring the highest standards of financial and legal governance, and overseeing the delivery of regional aquatic plans alongside national Swim England objectives.
