Hatfield at British Champs
The 2025 Aquatics GB Swimming Championships returns to the site of the London Olympics at the London Aquatics Centre. The country’s best swimmers will compete from 15th-20th April and the event will be a key component used for the selection of the British swimming and para-swimming world championship teams. The Pink Army have five qualifiers for the championships this year. You can follow all the action and support our swimmers on the Aquatics GB YouTube channel.
Tuesday kicks off the racing. The first event is the Women’s 50m breaststroke in which Ashley Ransome will be swimming. Next up, in his first British Champs, is Daniel Belsey in the 400m Freestyle. Louise Fiddes is our final swimmer of the day going in the 200m freestyle.
On Friday, it will be the turn of Ever Ives also competing in her first British Champs. She will be our lone swimmer flying the flag for the Pink Army that day.
The week ends on Sunday with three more swimmers competing. Oliver Baskerville will be racing in the Men’s 200m backstroke while Louise and Ashley both return for the 100m breaststroke.
Hatfield also have two current away swimmers who will be racing for their respective universities. Charlotte Williams will be competing in the 50m and 100m butterfly for University of Surrey on Friday and Saturday. Caitlin Hartley will be swimming the 50m, 200m and 100m breaststroke events for University of Bath on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
Good luck to all our swimmers! Race hard and enjoy the experience!
