Hatfield’s New Assistant Head Coach
Hatfield Swimming Club would like to wish a warm welcome to our new Assistant Head Coach, Ross Clewlow! Ross will be on poolside later this week and will be the lead coach of Mosquito and Dragon squads.
Ross has been a swimmer his entire life and has a wealth of swimming knowledge that he will be applying to our club and swimmers. He first got into coaching at the age of 17 when he unfortunately fell ill and was unable to train for six months. During his time out of the water, he found something he enjoyed as much as swimming and that was coaching and helping others to improve.
Outside of the pool, he used to compete in football and also athletics. He is a fan of pretty much any sport going. Ross also has a family and a dog. Additionally, he enjoys staying fit and active and is a regular gym goer.
I’m sure you will all want to welcome him into the Pink Army and make him feel part of the team!
