Herts Aquatics Meet

The Herts Aquatics Meet was held over the weekend of Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd November at Haberdasher Aske’s Boys School. Events included 50m, 100m and 200m in all events with four heats of 400m freestyle. This competition is held annually and funds from the meet go towards the Herts Aquatics 50m pool project.

The Pink Army took a team of swimmers from Trident, Hornet, Venom, Mosquito, Dragon and Vampire. Many of these swimmers were looking for County and Regional times and quite a number of them achieved these time standards. Coaches Daniel T and Rushabh were pleased with the performances from our swimmers in this early part of the swimming year. Still lots more improvements to come and plenty more qualification times to be had!

The swimmers enjoyed the meet and were supportive of one another which is always great to see. In a few weeks time, many will be racing again, this time at our own County Qualifier.
