Pink Army Recapture Major League Title

Saturday night was the third and final round of Herts Major League competition. With everything to play for, Hatfield headed to Haberdasher’s Boys School to compete for the 2025 title. Our opponents on the night were CoStA, Hoddesdon, Verulam, Potter’s Bar and Stevenage.

The team raced hard all night and pulled together with lots of support from parents in the gallery. There were lots of top three finishes and plenty of wins resulting in the Pink Army amassing a total of 211 points by the end of the evening, finishing in first place!

Head coach Daniel Fogg had this to say about the team effort. “Well done to all the 41 swimmers involved across the three rounds, showing our strength in depth. There was a great team ethos throughout.”

After finishing second in the league last year, it was fantastic for Hatfield to once again capture the Major League title. Next in the team competition calendar is Peanuts where our younger swimmers will be competing against other local clubs over three rounds of friendly racing. Let’s go Pink Army!
