Reese Housden – Winter Nationals

  • December 21, 2016

Further to our post on the club’s good showing at Winter Nationals, a special mention goes to Reese Housden, who swam the 100m freestyle in 51.82 seconds. This was the fastest ever 100m freestyle  short course swim by a male British 14 year old, as can be seen from the British all time rankings for this event/age group here.  Reese won a bronze medal as he was competing in the junior (age 14/15 category), in which the gold and silver medalists were 15 year olds – so he will be eligible to compete in the same junior age category next year as well.  Congratulations to Reese on an excellent achievement.
